Virtual NCGA Canola Expo

Virtual Minnesota Canola Council Meeting

December 3, 2020

Educational sessions will include new innovations in the canola industry, COVID-19’s potential impact on canola markets, how election results may influence agricultural policy, and research results from the Minnesota Canola Council’s 2020 Canola Production Centre. Additional sessions will present winter canola varieties, the future of new canola plant proteins, and canola fertility rates and timing.

Canola for Biodiesel and Renewable Diesel

It continues to be a challenging time for biodiesel, both commercially and on the federal policy front. President Trump and the Administration are dealing with backlash following the decision to grant an additional 31 retroactive Small Refinery Exemptions (SREs) in August under the Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS).
