National Canola Research Conference
Every three to four years, the U.S. Canola Association hosts a National Canola Research Conference (NCRC) for university and industry researchers to present their latest findings on canola production and nutrition and industrial applications for both canola oil and meal. Agronomic topics range from breeding spring and winter canola to planting date and fertilizer applications to controlling insects, diseases and weeds to harvesting and storage best practices. The NCRC allows participants to share and discuss practical production tips and innovative technologies as well as to identify opportunities for collaborative research and develop research priorities to grow the U.S. canola industry.
