Research Funding

Scientists from several states compete on an annual basis for funding from the National Sclerotinia Initiative. Reviews of grant proposals and funding decisions are made by regional research committees. Yearly funding requests and amounts appropriated by the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Agricultural Research Service since 2002 have continued to increase, underscoring the value of this multi-crop initiative.
