Types of Membership

Producer Members are actively involved in farming and have an interest in canola. They are entitled to vote at membership meetings, sit on association committees and be elected to the board of directors. The annual membership fee is $25. Click to submit payment.

Industry Members include any domestic business organization or agency, or individuals of U.S. residence, interested in canola and the betterment of the industry. These members are entitled to vote at membership meetings, sit on association committees and have representation on the board of directors. Industry members with a board seat pay $10,000 annually and dues for industry members without a board seat are $5,000 annually.

Associate Members include any domestic or foreign business, organization or agency, or individual interested in canola and communication with the association. Associate members are not entitled to vote at membership meetings nor can be represented on the board of directors. The annual membership fee is $500. Click to submit payment.

Contributory Members are domestic or foreign businesses, organizations, agencies or individuals who contribute financially to the USCA. Contributions may be designated for promotion, market development or research. Contributory members are not entitled to vote at membership meetings, sit on association committees or be represented on the board of directors. Such members select their own annual contribution amount.

Honorary Members are people who have given distinctive service to the USCA or the development of the canola industry. Upon recommendation by the USCA board of directors, they are elected honorary members for life and no longer required to pay dues. They are entitled to all membership privileges except voting rights.
